The row space is 7.62mm or 0.3inch.

 

Wide Spacing

The row space is 715.24mm or 0.6inch.

 

This pack of machined IC sockets is exactly what one would expect. The IC sockets are in the dual in-line package (DIP). The spacing, or pitch, between the pins is 2.54mm or 0.1inch. These IC sockets can be used in prototyping boards, breakout boards, and many other common DIY projects.

 

 

NOTE 1: The accepted IC pin diameter is between 0.40mm and 0.56mm. Some ICs have rectangular pins. Please check the datasheet of your IC to ensure the pins will fit this socket.

NOTE 2: These IC sockets are small and could be a choking hazard for young children. Please exercise caution.

Decent price & good sockets

I always get the machined sockets whenever possible as they're much easier to solder to a PCB. Also the round pins also make much better contact than the flat stamped pins which do wear fairly quickly & often become intermittent over time. I got these for repairing some vintage computer equipment though they're just as useful on other equipment. I'll be getting more as needed.
