The DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor is an easy to use module and popular among hobbyists. The module requires only three wires to be connected (Vin, GND and digital pin), and accepts both the common 3.3V or the 5V as supply voltages. The sensor makes for a fast addition to your project and is great for beginners to learn about sensors, electrical circuits, microcontrollers, and IDE software coding. 

NOTE: Do not sample this sensor more than 1Hz (or once per second).
