This VEML7700 Lux Sensor module is one of the easiest to use and get results quickly. It interfaces via I2C protocol and is both 3.3V and 5V compatible. There is an additional 3.3V output that can supply up to 0.1A for other purposes.

The address of the module is 0x10. If you need to connect multiple of these sensors on a single I2C bus, we recommend the PCA9548A module that can multiplex up to eight devices with the same address.

To get started quickly, we recommend this tutorial. Use any microcontroller you have in your collection as long as it is 3.3V or 5V based.
