Narrow Spacing

Wide Spacing

The row space is 715.24mm or 0.6inch.

This 24-pack of pressed IC sockets is exactly what one would expect. The IC sockets each have 6 pins, in the dual in-line package (DIP). These IC sockets are shipped in protective packaging, so that the pins are not bend by the time they arrive in your hands. The spacing, or pitch, between the pins is 2.54mm or 0.1inch. The row space is 7.62mm or 0.3inch. With this standard North American pitch, these IC sockets can be used in prototyping boards, breakout boards, and many other common DIY projects.

NOTE 1: The legs of these IC sockets are fragile/bend easily and are not intended for repeated inserting/pulling out. Instead, solder IC socket into place to prevent damage to the legs.
