This sound sensor is easy to use and implement in many projects. The sensor has an adjustable trigger threshold. When the detected sound is below the threshold the digital out remains HIGH (1). With increasing sound, eventually surpassing the threshold, the digital out switches to LOW (0). By adjusting the onboard potentiometer this threshold can be tuned. Turn it all the way clockwise and the sensor becomes not sensitive at all, and will not trigger. Turn it all the way counterclockwise and the sensor becomes too sensitive and is triggered at all times.

Works perfectly in my Morse code ham radio project

I used the board with a relay, and other parts to connect Morse code software running on a Chromebook to my ham radio to send Morse code. Worked perfectly and was very inexpensive too.
