    Product Description

    PTSolns Proto-Full prototyping perf board with silkscreen printing on both sides showing dashed white lines indicating electrical connections, separate ground and negative rails, two power input methods (screw terminal and female power jack), four M3 mounting holes for grounding or stacking, multiple configurable power rails, and a central rail that can be connected to ground.

    The Proto-Series is a family of solderable prototyping perf boards / breadboards with unique features, such as:
    • Silkscreen printing on both sides. Dashed white lines indicate electrical connection.
    • Separate ground and negative, which can be connected.
    • 2 power-in methods: A) screw terminal, B) female power jack.
    • 4 x M3 mounting holes: A) able to be separately grounded, B) able to stack multiple boards.
    • Multiple power rails, which can be connected in various configurations.
    • Central rail, which can be connected to ground.
      The Proto-Series prototyping boards can be used in a range of applications, including:
      • Prototyping your own circuit. Your circuit design from breadboard to protoboard.
      • Interfacing microcontroller development boards (such as the Nano, or the ESP32)
      • Data logging and other sensor data gathering

        Features of the Proto-Full

        PTSolns Proto-Half prototyping board with screw terminal and power jack inputs, multiple configurable power rails, mounting holes, and silkscreen markings indicating connections.

        The following are highlights of the Proto-Full. For full details please see the datasheet which can be found in our "PTSolns Documentation Repository".

        • Two power-in methods: A) screw terminal, B) female power jack. 
        • Positive/negative power rails (4 each) and both central rails are disconnected by default. Various configurations can be realized by soldering across the respective 2-pin jumpers.
        • Canadian designed.
        • Ground and negative terminals are treated separately, and by default are not enabled. The user has the options to:
          • Connect one or both of the central rails to ground (via 2-pin jumper)
          • Access the ground-out pin
          • Connect the ground to the negative (via 2-pin jumper)
        • Electrical connections are shown by dashed white silkscreen printed lines. The layout of the Proto-Full is similar to the traditional breadboard. That is, rows of five are connected, as well as long sections of power rails.
        • There are four positive power rails, four negative power rails, and two central rails. Any of these can be connected (via 2-pin jumper) to realize rails that span the entire board.
        • Silkscreen printing on both sides.
        • Four mounting holes can be separately grounded (see second image for grounding options). Mounting holes can also be used to stack multiple boards.
        • Lead-free surface finish RoHS.

        Deluxe package contents including three female power jacks, three 2-pin screw terminals, three 1x40 pin male headers, fifty 2-pin jumper caps, and a set of 150 brass M3 hex standoffs.
        The Deluxe package includes:
        • 3 pcs female power jack (2.1mm x 5.5mm)
        • 3pcs 2.54mm/0.1in 2-pin screw terminal
        • 3pcs 2.54mm/0.1in 1x40 pin male header
        • 50 pcs 2.54mm/0.1in 2-pin jumper caps
        • 150 pcs standoff set (M3, brass, hex)

        One nice touch is that all of the connections are sheathed within the plies of silicon. You don’t have to worry as much about accidentally bumping into the next row while you’re soldering. For what it is, it’s the highest quality I’ve seen.

        Ces cartes de prototypages sont de très bonnes qualités. Les options pour brancher les bus d'alimentations sont intéressantes ainsi que l'emplacement pour installer un connecteur d'alimentation. Les trous de montages avec des rondelles conductrices qui peuvent-être reliées au négatif de l'alimentation sont aussi un plus.

        Amazing stuff!

        this breadboard are just awesome! They are very well made and come with a bunch of headers, jumpers etc... I really like the center ground connection on the board, gives more options on how to solder my components.
