About this item

• 5V & 3.3V Compatible: The USB-UART Bridge, also known as U2B, is compatible with both 5V and 3.3V microcontroller development boards, ensuring broad flexibility. By default it operates at 5V, but a jumper on the back allows switching to 3.3V when needed. This USB to UART Bridge makes programming microcontroller development boards quick and easy.
• Robust & Predictable: The USB-UART Bridge is built around the popular and widely used CH340 IC (authentic and genuine), known for its reliability in serial communication. Installing the driver is a simple one-time step, after which the bridge is ready for seamless use across supported systems.
• Packed with Features: The USB-UART Bridge includes an onboard power LED that can be disabled with a jumper on the back for a quick disconnect. It also provides six ground pinouts, six power pinouts, and a standard serial header pinout for easy and flexible connections. The headers (female header and male headers) can be assembled in multiple configurations offering lots of convenience.
• What’s Included: Each package includes two full sets: (2) PTSolns USB-UART Bridge (U2B), four (4) 1x8 Pin 2.54mm Female Headers, and four (4) 1x8 Pin 2.54mm Male Headers (or equivalent). Assembly required. USB cable not included. Use a USB-C cable that supports data transfer, as some cables only provide power. To program microcontrollers using the Arduino IDE or other platforms, install the widely used CH340 USB driver (a quick, one-time setup). Detailed installation steps are provided in the datasheet.
